Laparoscopic surgery requires profound anatomical knowledge as well as a special degree of cognitive and motor skills. A training curriculum (Lübecker Toolbox (LTB) Curriculum) was developed in the Department of Surgery at the UKSH Campus Lübeck, which enables the learning of laparoscopic surgical techniques outside the operating theatre.
As part of our skills lab, you have the opportunity to test exercises on the Lübecker Toolbox. You have several LTB training systems at your disposal, where you can train and perfect your laparoscopic surgical techniques - such as the laparoscopic suture.
